Underwater Footage of Common Skate
Below is some excellent underwater footage of a large male common skate recorded in January 2012 in 60m of water off the Black Craig, Orkney.

Below is a short clip of a female common skate coming to the boat in the Sound of Jura. The fish was caught by Patrick Lawlor, her weight was calculated using SSTP charts at 174lb.
